Easter was SO FUN! EEEEEEEEE. Excuse me, I am still a little bit hyper. I woke up, and waited the long, agonizing hours until the rest of the family awoke. Then we went downstairs and began hunting for our baskets. My brother found his first (obviously, his was hidden in the fireplace). But my sister and I had a harder time. We all knew where hers was--she was standing right in front of it asking "where is it?". Mine was very difficult. I finally found it hidden behind some toy bins near the French doors. It contained jelly beans, yogurt raisins (which were delicious), more jelly beans, caramel chocolates, a giant egg cookie, and a large chocolate rabbit. Ahh, epicness.

Then we went to see our neighbors. They had eaten most of their candy, and they were soaring high on the waves of sugar. We scootered up and down the block for a while, and that went well, aside for a couple of candy and pink bunny rabbit spills. They insisted on carrying their Easter baskets with them as they rode. It was cute. My whole family went over to their house and we colored Easter eggs. We colored HUNDREDS of eggs. We decided that dropping the eggs in the diluted dye itself was not satisfying, so their mom brought out the straight dye. I don't know if that was a good idea. A 4-year-old + straight egg dye = Messy eggs, messy table, messy boy. His hands were black from the dye, and his pants and shirt were covered in it. And straight dye doesn't wash out easily. So he just had black and purple hands, and black and purple streaks in his blond hair. But it was very fun. I painted lots of eggs. And my hands got a little bit black too (shh, don't tell).
Then we ate coconut cake, and the dads went off to the park to hide the eggs. We hung out for a while, then raced to the park when it was time. I, being older than some of the children, made up a take one, leave one rule for the egg hunt. I really don't think I needed it. The younger kids were racing through the park grabbing eggs. I could of gotten twice as many as I did, but I was worried for the younger members of the hunt. So next time I'll just grab as many eggs as possible. But it turned out fine because they don't really like Jelly Beans, or Starbursts, or Jolly Ranchers. Or maybe they just prefer chocolate, because they gave me lots of their candy. I was happy. We went home and rested, and sorted our candy. I had twice as much as I had started out with that morning. Yay! Then, I decided that I wanted to sort Jelly Beans. I looked at the chart on the package, and copied it exactly with real Jelly Beans.

See? Exactly the same. We decided to have movie night, and my mom and I watched The King's Speech. It was good, but nothing really happened. And it did not deserve the R rating. I thought it should of been rated PG-13, or even PG. Then I went to bed and woke up in the morning and decided to do a blog post. Thanks for reading!
Sounds fun!!
